Born into the Mason family, who have farmed in Norfolk for over 200 years, Hugh grew up in Fincham, the farm's local village and began working at Hall Farm at the age of 20.
At the age of 22, Hugh continued the family tradition and took over the running of the farm from his father, Maurice. Our farm now consists of 5,000 acres of land within a 40 mile radius. As well as rapeseed, the farm also grows wheat and sugar beet.
We nurture our crops at every stage using a mixture of traditional and modern farming methods. With our understanding of farming, we grow only the healthiest and finest crops. Perfecting the art of farming, as well as identifying what technology can achieve for the benefit of the crop, is something we constantly strive for.
We take great pride in our business, our brand and our products. We do our very best to ensure that we farm in a responsible and sustainable way, in order to safe guard the future of our home and our business.
