Egg Fried Bread

Serves 4

4 free-range eggs
Mr Hugh’s rapeseed oil (standard or light spray)
4 slices of bread (white or wholemeal)
1 tsp coarse sea salt
Drizzle Mr Hugh’s truffle or extreme chilli infused oil


Crack all four eggs in a bowl and beat – transfer to a flat dish for easy dipping.
Heat the Mr Hugh’s standard rapeseed oil or spray in a frying pan.
When the oil is hot, dip one piece of bread in the egg, coating both sides.
Fry the soaked bread in the hot pan and leave to cook for 1-2 minutes, turn it over and cook the other side for the same length of time.
Once finished set to one side and repeat with the rest of the bread.

Serve the eggy bread topped with a drizzle of your favourite Mr Hugh’s infused oil. We recommend the Truffle or extreme chilli!
