Homemade Margarita Pizza

Not too Tricky

For the Base:

225g self-raising flour
½ tsp of salt
80ml of warm water
3 tbsp of Mr Hugh’s standard rapeseed oil

For the Sauce:

100ml passata
2 garlic cloves -crushed
salt & pepper to season

Mr Hugh’s Basil infused Rapeseed Oil


To start:

Mix the passata with the garlic on a low heat on the hob, until bubbling. Season and stir then leave to stand at room temperature.

For the base:

Place the self-rising flour and salt into a mixing bowl. Create a well in the centre of the bowl and add the warm water and Mr Hugh’s rapeseed oil. Using a wooden spoon, mix the ingredients, starting from the centre and working your way toward the sides of the bowl.
If the dough is stiff, add more water. It should be soft, but not sticky.
Knead on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes.

Before placing in the oven:

Roll out your dough and top with the sauce, freshly chopped tomatoes and mozzarella, finish with a drizzle of Mr Hugh’s Basil infused rapeseed oil and bake for 15-25 minutes (or until dough is golden).
