Jamaican Style Chicken Kebabs

Not too Tricky

4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut chunks

85ml Mr Hugh’s Extreme Chilli Rapeseed Oil

65ml soy sauce

250ml orange juice

65ml fresh thyme

35ml Garlic Infused Rapeseed Oil

3 green onions, chopped

1 fresh ginger, 5cm piece, peeled

1 lime, juiced

1 red onion, chopped

1 tbsp ground allspice/Jamaican pepper

1 tbsp ground nutmeg

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Kebab skewers (suggested)


To begin, create your Caribbean marinade by combining all of the ingredients, excluding the chicken, in a blender/food processor until the mixture is smooth.

Once done, add the chicken to a large gallon size resealable sandwich bag, then pour in your mixture and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

You can now pierce the chicken chunks with the kebab skewers and cook on a barbeque or grill for around 4-5 minutes on each side, on a medium to high heat.

This recipe is great with a variety of sauces and dips. Why not try dipping your kebabs in our coriander mayo.
