Spicy Garlic and Chilli Prawns

Serves 4 People
  • 10 - 15 king prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 3/4 tablespoon of chilli flakes or 2tbs of Mr.Hugh’s Chilli Infused Rapeseed Oil (Buy Now)
  • 3 limes, zested and juiced
  • 2 oranges, zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped) or 2tbs of Mr.Hugh’s Garlic Infused Rapeseed Oil (Buy Now)
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  1. Use a blender/food processor and combine the orange juice, zest, lime juice, zest, chilli flakes, olive oil, garlic and salt. Mix until smooth.
  2. Place prawns in a bowl, and pour the citrus marinade over them. Let them marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the prawns for about 3 minutes per side until opaque. Spoon a little of the marinade in for extra flavour whilst cooking the prawns.
